What certifications do solar panels need for Indonesia?▼
IEC 61215 + IEC 61730 required (we provide). SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) IEC-equivalent approval from BSN/KAN for retail. For grid interconnection under PLN Atap (PLN Rooftop Solar) program: Sertifikat Laik Operasi (SLO) process required — we provide cert bundle supporting this. For utility-scale under ESDM PPAs: full bankability documentation.
What's the import cost structure for Indonesia?▼
Solar modules: 5-7% import duty (HS 8541.40.22, varies by trade agreement). VAT (PPN): 11%. Income tax prepayment (PPh 22): 2.5-7.5%. Total: ~18-25% on CIF. ASEAN-China FTA (ACFTA) reduces duty to 0-2.5% if Certificate of Origin Form E provided — we supply this free for all Indonesia shipments to reduce your import cost.
How fast is shipping to Indonesia?▼

Yes. PLN Atap (rooftop solar program) accepts our 600W TOPCon via SLO process. For utility-scale under ESDM auctions (Floating PV Cirata, Java/Bali programs), JUSTSOLAR supplies EPCs at Tier-1 adjacent tier — for BNEF Tier-1 strict bankability projects, we can co-supply. For C&I rooftop (factories, shopping malls, hotels): direct supply common.
Is IKN (Nusantara new capital) solar supply competitive?▼
Yes — IKN masterplan includes ~400 MW of distributed solar and floating solar on Balikpapan Bay. Makassar port is geographically closest for East Kalimantan delivery (12-16 days from Shanghai). We supply modules + inverters + mounting for IKN EPCs. For government/state-owned projects, local content requirements may apply — we advise on compliance path.
What payment terms for Indonesian buyers?▼
Payment terms are confirmed in the formal PI. For new Indonesian buyers and most first orders, JUSTSOLAR uses 100% T/T before shipment. Any exception requires written approval from Frank and will be stated in the PI. USD denominated always (not IDR).
