What is the Brazil solar procurement context?
INMETRO identifies current conformity, registration and labelling steps for photovoltaic equipment within its regulated scope. ANEEL separately defines the MMGD, SCEE and connection context for distributed generation.
Product conformity, applicant or registration evidence, distributor connection, project approval, customs treatment and commercial supply are separate decisions. A public programme, tariff panel or test report does not prove a JUSTSOLAR approval, order, stock position or delivery.

Brazil conformity, project and import review
Separate INMETRO product scope, ANEEL or project route, distributor requirements, NCM treatment, importer responsibility and commercial supply.
- Identify the buyer, final market, application and MMGD, self-consumption, utility, tender or other project route.
- Confirm the responsible applicant, exact model, INMETRO registration or declaration scope, label and current status where applicable.
- Match technical reports to the certificate or report holder, legal manufacturer, production site, standard, edition and model.
- Confirm the importer, NCM, description, origin, administrative treatment, trade measures, tariff, tax and destination documents.
- Keep INMETRO, ANEEL, distributor, engineer, importer, installer and module-supplier responsibilities separate in the written plan.
Site and logistics specification review

Brazil solar procurement questions
Is every solar module automatically ready for sale in Brazil?
No. INMETRO states that photovoltaic equipment within the regulated scope must follow the applicable test, conformity-declaration, registration and labelling steps before national commercialization. The buyer should verify the exact applicant, model, technical sheet, registration status, label and intended transaction.
Does an IEC test report replace INMETRO registration?
No. An IEC publication or report can form part of technical evidence, but it does not by itself prove INMETRO registration, label authorization, current model scope, distributor acceptance, grid connection or project eligibility.
Does the ANEEL distributed-generation page cover every Brazil project?
No. ANEEL's MMGD and SCEE material addresses a defined distributed-generation and connection context. C&I self-consumption, utility, tender, private commercial and other project routes can require different authority, distributor, engineering and contract review.
Does JUSTSOLAR publish a fixed Brazil import duty or landed tax?
No. The importer should verify the exact NCM, product description, origin, administrative treatment, trade measures, tariff, quota, tax, state treatment and effective date. MDIC states that its Tariff Panel is consultative and non-binding at DUIMP registration.
What does JUSTSOLAR need before a formal Brazil offer?
