IEC 61215 + IEC 61730 required (we provide). ESMA (Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology) approval for retail/residential. DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) approved product list required for Shams Dubai net-metering program. ADEK/EtihadWE equivalent for Abu Dhabi. G-Mark for GCC-wide distribution. What's the import duty on solar panels in UAE?▼

UAE has GCC common external tariff of 5% on most goods, but solar modules are typically exempted or zero-rated under renewable energy policy. VAT is 5% on CIF + duty. For DEWA-listed installations and free zone operations (DMCC, JAFZA, ADGM, DIFC), additional tax advantages may apply. Your customs broker handles HS classification and clearance.

What payment terms for UAE buyers?▼

Payment terms are confirmed in the formal PI. For new UAE buyers and most first orders, JUSTSOLAR uses 100% T/T before shipment. Any exception requires written approval from Frank and will be stated in the PI. USD or AED may be reviewed in the PI.
