What is the Turkey solar procurement context?

The Türkiye National Energy Plan projects solar power capacity reaching 52.9 GW in 2035. The Ministry also operates the YEKA resource-area model, while EPDK publishes separate YEKDEM and unlicensed-generation materials. These policy and market mechanisms are not evidence of a JUSTSOLAR order, stock position, project award, fixed tariff or supplier qualification.

Choose the project route before module review

Turkey procurement starts with the project entity, named network operator and project-owned document. YEKDEM remains a separate support-mechanism question rather than a fourth connection route.

Licensed generation project

Name the project company, pre-licence or generation-licence stage, TEIAS or distribution operator, connection point and current application or connection document. Module review does not replace project licensing or grid acceptance.

Unlicensed and self-consumption generation

Name the applicant, network operator, application stage, connection opinion or agreement, system size and use case. A public capacity notice does not reserve capacity for a buyer or approve a module.

YEKA competition or contract

Provide the exact competition year and area, specification, connection opinion, contract stage and any local-component or document schedule. A YEKA document applies to that competition or project, not every Turkish project or module.

Five details required for a Turkey RFQ

The importer, project route and destination port are more useful than a message asking only for price.

Project and import-route review

Energy-market regulation, tender rules and imported-product controls are separate questions. The Turkish importer and project team should identify the current route before model or shipment claims are made.

  • Identify the Turkish importer, destination, intended use and customs classification for the exact product.
  • Classify the project as licensed generation, unlicensed or self-consumption generation, or a named YEKA competition or contract.
  • Name TEIAS or the relevant distribution operator, the connection point and the current project-owned application, opinion, agreement or contract document.
  • Treat YEKDEM as a separate support-mechanism check, not a connection route, project award or module approval.
  • Confirm whether the current Ministry of Trade product rule or TAREKS workflow applies to the exact product and shipment.
  • Define requested test reports, declarations, labels, manuals and tender-specific documents before order review.

Site and tender specification review

Do not select a module only from a generic wattage, technology or agricultural-savings claim. Define the exact project conditions and documentary requirements.

  • Project location, intended application and electrical design basis
  • Wind, snow, dust, salt, temperature or agricultural exposure relevant to the site
  • Mounting system, maximum system voltage and project-approved module dimensions
  • Any local-content, tender, lender or end-customer document requirement
  • Requested inspection scope, delivery basis and destination port

Does JUSTSOLAR publish a fixed Turkey module or CIF price?

No. Product specification, quantity, destination, requested Incoterm, schedule, project route and import scope must be reviewed before Frank or the Director confirms a formal offer and PI.

Are YEKA and YEKDEM the same thing?

No. YEKA is the Ministry's renewable-energy resource-area and competition model. YEKDEM is an EPDK-administered renewable support mechanism. YEKDEM is not a connection route, and neither term proves a fixed tariff, project award or supplier qualification for JUSTSOLAR.

Which operator and project document should a Turkey buyer name?

Name TEIAS or the relevant distribution operator and provide the current project-owned application, connection opinion, connection or system-use agreement, licence document or YEKA contract that matches the actual route. A generic market label is not enough for model review.

Does a TEIAS capacity notice reserve capacity for a buyer or module?

No. A public capacity or application-result notice is route-, region- and period-specific. It does not reserve capacity for the buyer, approve a JUSTSOLAR module or replace the project's current connection documents.

Does one YEKA specification apply to every Turkish solar project?

No. Use the exact competition year, area, connection opinion, specification and contract. Those documents do not automatically govern a separate licensed or unlicensed project and do not prove JUSTSOLAR eligibility.

Can a module be described as generally EPDK compliant?

That wording is too broad. EPDK regulates electricity-market and project processes, while product, tender, grid, importer and customs requirements depend on the exact use and current rules. The buyer should define the applicable route before documentary review.

Does TAREKS automatically inspect every imported solar product?

The Ministry of Trade describes TAREKS as a risk-based electronic control system. The importer should verify the current annual communiqué, product scope, customs classification and requested documents for the exact shipment.

Does JUSTSOLAR disclose its Tier-1 OEM customers?

No. JUSTSOLAR can state Tier-1 OEM manufacturing experience under NDA, but customer and supplier names are not published and no BNEF listing, YEKA award or YEKDEM participation is implied.
