B2B solar procurement guide
What changes a solar module quote?
There is no reliable universal price per watt. A comparable quote starts with the same product, quantity, destination, Incoterm, freight and compliance scope, followed by formal commercial review.
Submit comparable RFQ
Six factors behind a reviewed quote
Product specification
Technology, wattage, dimensions, glass, frame, connectors and required evidence must match before two offers are comparable.
Quantity and loading
Pieces, pallets, containers or MW change the packing plan, loading efficiency and production scope.
Destination and Incoterm
The named port and requested FOB, CFR or CIF basis determine which logistics costs belong inside the review.
Freight route
Carrier capacity, route disruption, transshipment and the requested shipping window can change freight assumptions.
Market access
Tariffs, rules of origin, certification and import documents depend on the destination and product scope.
Inspection and timing
Third-party inspection, witness testing, document review and requested timing must be defined before formal confirmation.

Compare like with like
- Use the same module specification and accepted tolerances.
- Use the same quantity, packing and loading basis.
- Use the same destination port and Incoterm.
- Compare the same document, certification and inspection scope.
- Separate a preliminary indication from a formal offer or PI.

Solar quote questions
Why does this page not publish a current price per watt?
A public number can become stale and is not a formal offer. Product, quantity, destination, Incoterm, freight, evidence and timing must be reviewed together.
How should a buyer compare two solar module quotes?
Keep the product specification, quantity, loading, destination, Incoterm, document scope and inspection scope the same. Otherwise the headline numbers do not describe the same purchase.
Does direct supply guarantee the lowest price?
No. Direct supply can remove some brand or channel layers, but there is no universal saving or lowest-price guarantee. The complete RFQ determines the reviewed basis.
Can OEM and private-label requirements be reviewed?
Yes. Nameplate, packaging, specification and quality-document requirements can be reviewed under NDA. OEM customer names are not published.
When are commercial terms confirmed?
Final specification, price, availability, lead time, warranty, certification scope and payment terms are confirmed only through the formal offer and PI path after review.
